Old World Charm which Still stands

Hotel is iconic and at the best location in pattaya. The hotel bosts of many facilities and staff puts all their hard work to feel you welcomed.

Hard rock is an iconic property but has worn out now. There is no story. I stayed in this hotel in 2013 and now in 2024. There was no change. Lifts are wearing out a very small. Breakfast if you are an Indian tourist is not there. So make a better choice if you are looking for Indian breakfast

WE WANTED JAIN VEGETARIAN MEAL FOR BREAKFAST,ON FIRST DAY LIMITED OPTIONS WERE PROVIDED BUT ON THE NEXT DAY WE WERE PROVIDED A GOOD SPREAD FOR BREAKFAST. THE INDIAN COOK TOOK NOTE OF OUR REQUIREMENTS AND FOOD WAS YUMMY...THANKS TO THE STAFF...... EVENIG HIGH TEA WITH SNACKS & DRINKS AT THE LOUNGE WAS COMPLIMENTARY WITH OUR FAMILY SUITE ,SO WE OBLIGED AND THE WAITRESSES WERE ENTHUSIASTIC IN SERVING US ALL THROUGH THE EVENING,KIDS LOVED IT TOO.....POOL AREA IS AWESOME ...WE STAYED AT PROPERTY WITH SO MUCH TO DO DURING OUR STAY FOR 2 NIGHTS & 3 DAYS. I was told at reception that I can use discount for hard rock shop purchases after I check out by showing invoice. The salesperson at the shop then refused to give me discount so I had to insist until she called management. this should not happen

Had to drive all the way round one way system to park the car. There is a way down from beach road to car park but for staff only. This should be open to your guests.

The facility is a bit old. The room sound insulation was really bad and you can hear people talking next door very clearly(including some interesting sound if you have a couple next door)

The staff in the club lounge were very good.

The reception front desk (Jenna) lacks both customer professionism and it was me who had to ask about upgrading rooms (obviously at added cost). She really was not helpful and I feel.she is in need of trainning in customer relations.
